Debanks in the Cotswolds A Mini One Name Study |
This section of the site was born out of sheer frustration. Debank events were popping up all over the Cotswold area but it was difficult to follow a particular family group. So I began to record all events that I found, during the course of which I came into contact with Bob Adams of like mind. Eventually, we were able to put together the families as set out below. My thanks to Bob for allowing me to use his typed format of the information on this site.
For the purposes of record keeping we have consistently spelled the surname as DEBANK, but it may have appeared in the actual record as DEBANK/E/S or DAYBANK/E/S, De BANK/E/S, DEBAUK, D'BANK (I could go on) or even occasionally as simply BANK!
