LANXON

 

 

William LANXON married Mary TINNEY at Helland on 25 April 1822

 

William was baptised 7 August 1791

He was an Agricultural Labourer

In the 1841 census they were living at Helland Bridge, in 1851 at the Churchtown, Helland

He was buried 21 September 1855 aged 64

 

Mary was baptised 6 April 1800 at Lanhydrock, CON

To follow her line go to Lanlivery, CON

In 1871, a widow, she is a Staymaker, living with her unmarried son William

In 1881 she is living with her grandaughter Mary [MASTERS] and her husband Edwin GEACH

at Helland

She died on 7 July 1889 aged 91 of Sanguineous Apoplexy

Abel's gravestone was found in Helland, the inscription reads:-

In Loving Memory of Annie Draydon beloved wife of Abel Lanxon

who died at Waterland March 5th 1905 aged 69 years

Also of the above Abel Lanxon

who died Feb 1st 1933 aged 90 years

Elizabeth his wife was buried 30 June 1799 in her 76th year

Richard son of Robert and Mary Lanxon grandson of the above Richard and Elizabeth

buried 21st May 1811 aged 23
